AI-powered sales enablement platform provider looks to expand global reach and accelerate growth with five executive appointments

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bigtincan, (ASX:BTH) the leading mobile, AI-powered sales enablement platform provider, today announced several executive additions and promotions to enable and accelerate global business growth. Key executive moves include the appointment of company President, and previously COO, Patrick Welch to President and CMO; Vivian Stewart as COO; Mike Maggio as Head of European Operations; Kent Erickson as SVP of Product Management; and Rafi Mubarak as Senior Director of Product Development.

Patrick Welch, Bigtincan’s President and COO will shift his focus from operations to marketing as he takes on the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, Patrick will focus on leading planning, development and execution of all company marketing initiatives. Patrick has more than six years with Bigtincan, leading US and EMEA operations where he oversaw the company through consistent year-over-year growth. Prior to Bigtincan, Patrick held several sales leadership roles at companies including Apperian, Aveksa (acquired by EMC) and CA Technologies. Patrick is based out of Bigtincan’s Boston headquarters.

As Patrick shifts his role to lead Bigtincan’s marketing team, Vivian Stewart will join Bigtincan to fill the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for overseeing operational systems and processes to support Bigtincan’s growth plans. Vivian has extensive background in the Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) industry, venture capital and M&A/corporate advisory. Vivian is also a fellow at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Director of ASX-listed Superloop Limited – adding a unique skillset to Bigtincan as it continues to develop its global business.

Bigtincan is adding sales and marketing, product development and infrastructure management resources across its global facilities as the company prepares for further growth and continued customer success. In addition to the c-level appointments named above, Bigtincan has announced the following personnel additions:

  • Mike Maggio has been promoted to Head of European Operations. In this new role, Mike will support the COO in building on the company’s global success. Mike previously ran strategic accounts in the U.S. for Bigtincan, and has extensive experience in creating and delivering successful deployments.
  • Kent Erickson has been appointed Senior Vice President of Product Management. Kent has over 20 years’ experience at the top level of enterprise software at AT&T, as well as other enterprise roles. Kent will have a global role, responsible for working with Bigtincan customers and internal teams to identify customer needs and lead design development that empowers sales teams.
  • Rafi Mubarak has been appointed to Senior Director of Product Development. Rafi will be responsible for overseeing the company’s product development team and associated resources in this new role. Rafi has over two decades of experience covering software engineering, implementing enterprise solutions, project management, business analysis, leading people and project teams, with extensive experience in implementing and coaching agile software development methodology.
