Using mobile content enablement solution to improve productivity in the field

BOSTON – September 2, 2014Bigtincan, a leader in mobile content enablement, today announced that multibillion dollar food distribution company, Rich’s Product Corporation, has implemented Bigtincan Hub to improve productivity for its mobile workforce.  Bigtincan hub is a single unified solution that securely delivers the right content to the right users at the right time and location – setting a new standard for the type of business than can be accomplished on a mobile device.

Prior to implementing Bigtincan Hub, Rich’s mobile workforce was using a variety of mobile applications to access, edit and share content on iPads– creating an inconsistent and frustrating user experience.  Rich’s mobile workforce was spending tremendous amounts of time searching across multiple content repositories for relevant content. Additionally, users were required to access information through a web portal, which meant that they only had access to that information when they had an Internet connection.

“Things tend to move fast in the field and we can not be constrained by content clutter or confusion,” said Thomas Geblein, Mobility Analyst at Rich’s Product Corporation. “With Bigtincan hub, we’ve been able to considerably improve the way our field teams access and share content.  Bigtincan hub has removed the obstacles to business mobility.”

Bigtincan hub provides a unified set of productivity tools that enable mobile users to securely and effectively engage with content – no matter where it resides, across any mobile device, regardless of whether a user is on-line or off-line.   Additionally, Bigtincan hub’s ContentIQ solution provides the intelligent insight into user interaction and utilization – making it easier to identify which content has the most value with customers.

Patrick Welch, president and COO of Bigtincan, said, “Many companies claim to be enabling their mobile workforce by handing them an iPad and asking them to figure out the content engagement piece of it on their own, which is why so many mobile initiatives fail.  Bigtincan has solved this problem by providing a single solution that removes the barriers to true mobile enablement by providing everything an enterprise user needs in a single solution.  We make accessing, working with and sharing content easier than ever before.”
