Bigtincan at Dreamforce ‘18

Last week was a busy and exciting time for Bigtincan as we made the cross-country trip to San Francisco, CA for Dreamforce 2018. During the week-long event, we met a ton of great people at our booths, hosted speaking sessions, made some major announcements, and enjoyed the San Francisco nightlife.

Major Announcements

During Dreamforce, Bigtincan made 3 major announcements regarding our company and product:

  1. First, we announced that independent research firm Forrester Research, Inc. ranked Bigtincan as a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™: Sales Enablement Automation Platforms, Q3 2018.
  2. We launched an exciting new product: Bigtincan for Salesforce, a new SaaS solution for users based on ontologies – a new approach to AI and data science.
  3. Lastly, we announced our acquisition of FatStax, a sales enablement leader creating end-to-end connections across CRM and sales enablement.

Booth Presence

This year we had 2 (yes 2!) booths in the customer success expo where our team spread the word about Bigtincan and our vision for sales enablement to the 160,000 attendees from all over the world.

Speaking Sessions

During the customer success expo, Bigtincan Co-founder and CEO, David Keane hosted a speaking session where he talked about Ontology and the role that it can play in recommending content and improving an organization’s overall content strategy.

We were also fortunate enough to have one of our innovative customers, Cardinal Health, give a presentation about their deployment of Bigtincan and how it is driving success in their organization.

Additionally, Bigtincan was a sponsor of the Sales Enablement Soirée – an event held outside the main show focusing solely on Sales Enablement. At the Soirée, Bigtincan’s Steve Hanson presented on a panel all around mapping sales content to the buyer, and Bigtincan executives sat down for video interviews with Vendor Neutral. The Soiree was also a great opportunity for us to showcase Bigtincan for Salesforce, demonstrating to the 2,500+ attendees how we could recommend content to sales people across multiple data sources without the need to tag the source content using ontologies.

The Fun Stuff

After the long days at the conference, the Bigtincan team let loose and explored downtown San Francisco where we joined our partners and colleagues at networking parties, and let’s not forget Dreamfest where some of our team rocked out at the free Metallica concert!

Dreamforce is always a whirlwind, and though we are sad this week of learning, networking, and innovation is over, we are already looking forward to Dreamforce 2019 – see you soon, San Francisco!
