Seasoned Tech Industry Exec Brings Nearly Two Decades of Experience, Enabling Software Companies to Achieve Collective Market Cap of More than $8 Billion

BOSTON – December 17, 2013 – bigtincan, the mobile content enablement company, today announced that Brian Cleary has joined the company as its chief strategy officer. Mr. Cleary brings 18 years of experience enabling software companies to create and dominate their market categories, which resulted in successful exit strategies through acquisitions or IPOs. The collective market cap of the software companies he has been affiliated with was over $8 billion.

As chief strategy officer, Mr. Cleary will be responsible for setting the technology roadmap, leading product and corporate marketing initiatives and developing strategic technology partnerships and field leadership strategies at bigtincan.

Prior to bigtincan, Mr. Cleary served as vice president of corporate strategy and products at Greenlight Technologies an enterprise business controls monitoring company. Prior to Greenlight Technologies, Mr. Cleary was the vice president of products and marketing at Aveska a leader in access governance that was acquired by EMC/RSA earlier this year. While at Aveska, Cleary established the company as the visionary and market leader in the enterprise access governance category for the Identity & Access Management software sector. Mr. Cleary also held executive-level positions at several notable technology companies that transformed the software industry such web pioneering firm Allarie Corporation/Macromedia, operational risk management market leader OpenPages/IBM, and identity management pioneer Netegrity/Computer Associates.
