How does it work?

How do I get it?

You can use BigTinCan connect from your computer browser, your phone browser or, if you have a Blackberry, iPhone, Windows Mobile or Android p hone, you can download one of the smartphone Connect applications.

How about messaging?

You can send SMS messages, or MMS (sent as SMS with a link to multimedia attachments) anywhere around the world from the web or from your smartphone - it's totally transparent and you can control your caller ID, send from a private number and lots more.

Did anybody say attachments? You can send pictures, videos, voice notes, songs, PDF files, Word Docs, anything that would be viewable on the recepients phone.

And all the content you send is automatically stored in MyFiles for you to view or resend anytime.

How about that fancy inbound call filtering stuff?

With BigTinCan you can get an inbound phone number (its a standard phone number) in over 80 countries around the world and then control what happens on that number. With over 50 different combinations of rules, you can set controls for callerID, time and day of week, private or blocked calls, and have a different set of rules for each DID

Some of the cool features include: forward your call to a single number and to a cascading list of numbers - number 1 then number 2 then number 3 etc - you can play any sound file that is in your MyFiles or use the standard files provided by BigTinCan, you can even use our Verification Rule - this is super cool - you can put a PIN on your number and then only people who know the PIN are connected to your mobile - other calls are sent to voicemail or even have their call terminated
