AdFree Update

To ensure that we are providing the ultimate protection on your mobile device, AdFree regularly updates both the client and server components of the app. For some users that means that you will have to remove and reinstall the app from Google Play (or other app distribution points)


If you are seeing this error message:
Hit Fatal Error. This copy of AdFree is too old, please update to a newer version.
Please perform the following:

  • Remove the application

    1. Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Applications
      (on devices running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Settings → Apps)
    2. Select AdFree from a list of your installed applications
    3. An Application Info screen will appear. Press the Unistall button, this will delete the app from your device

  • Reinstall the app using this link
